Three Rivers Festival 2013 Ritual Parts

Here are the main parts from the Earth Mother and Nature Spirits ritual at Three Rivers Festival this past weekend, if anyone wanted them:

At each rite we call to the Earth Mother, the first honoured, both vast and local, ever-present and mysterious. We celebrate the turning of the Wheel with the Bounty of the Land – our cycles are Her cycles, the cycles of Earth and Sun, whereby we live in accordance with Nature.

Earth Mother, to you we now call, our voices spreading over the land on the gentle breeze.
Each day you sustain us, you nurture us, both our bodies and souls, with unceasing bounty.
The treasures of the world are contained within you:
the mystery of the seed,
the clarity of water,
the whispers of the wind,
and the sweetness of nectar.
O blessed Earth Mother, we are born from your body, and here we stand upon you,
made of the same stuff as our Ancestors,
the same stuff as the cosmos!
Beloved Earth Mother, accept our humble praises, for anything we give to you comes from yourself, transformed through the hands of your children and returned to you.
Accept these gifts, Earth Mother, of grains and fruits, cooked for you with love and honour.
Earth Mother, accept our offering!

Among our Kindred are the Nature Spirits, the spirits residing in all the realms, in land and sea and sky. They are too numerous to name, they are too numerous to know, but they pervade every space of this Earth, sharing this middle realm with us. Let us honour them now, calling them forth from the host of the Kindred, to give them due honour!

The Children of Earth call out to the spirits of the land,
Forest-dwellers, field-dwellers, soil-dwellers – be with us in this place!
We call to the spirits of our stories, the boar and cow and stag, that we may honour your wisdom.
We call to the creatures of the meadows and woods, the squirrel and sheep and hare,
hat we may honour your lives.
We call to the predators, the cougar and coyote and wolf, that we may honour your strength.
We, the Children of Earth, remember that we are your kin!
We, the Children of Earth, praise your many names!
Land-spirits, accept our offering!

The Children of Earth call out to the spirits of the sea,
Stream-dwellers, pond-dwellers, ocean-dwellers – be with us in this place!
We call to the spirits of our stories, the eel and crane and salmon, that we may honour your wisdom.
We call to the creatures of the wide lakes and seas, the trout and pike and bass,
that we may honour your lives.
We call to those who dwell between worlds, the crab and otter and turtle,
that we may honour your magic.
We, the Children of Earth, remember that we are your kin!
We, the Children of Earth, praise your many names!
Sea-spirits, accept our offering!

The Children of Earth call out to the spirits of the sky,
Cloud-dwellers, mountain-dwellers, heaven-dwellers – be with us in this place!
We call to the spirits of our stories, the eagle and raven and hawk, that we may honour your wisdom.
We call to the creatures of the sky and the heavens, the goose and dove and butterfly,
